Williams Brooks Taylor

Augusta, GA – Williams Brooks Taylor, 64, entered into rest Sunday, January 23, 2022, at his residence. After a 5 year battle with Congestive Heart Failure, The Lord decided it was time to bring him home.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022, at 3:00 PM, at Faith Community Fellowship Church in Aiken, SC, with Minister Tony Taylor and Pastor Brion Holland officiating. Music will be provided by Leon Everette, one of Buddy’s most influential role models.

Mr. Taylor, son of the late Ruth Brooks Taylor “Grandma Turkey” and the late Paul L. Taylor, Sr, was born in Greenwood, SC. He retired from Parrish Quality Signs as an Operational Manager. He was a faithful member of Faith Community Fellowship Church – just ask anyone in attendance, when he was there, they knew it and when he wasn’t, they also knew it was only because he was not physically able.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul L. Taylor, Jr. (late Edwina C. Taylor) and Eddie L. Taylor (late Juanita F. Taylor); and his sister, Donna “Lady” Horne (Dickey Horne).

He is survived by his children, Tina Wilson, Crystal Cain, and Brandon Taylor (Zara); his grandchildren, Makayla Larsh (Samuel), Taylor Kilpatrick, Devyn Taylor, Chloee Cain, Jackson Cain, Nick Taylor, Jaycee Taylor, Peyton Taylor, Zayden Taylor; his brother Tony “Butch” Taylor (Diane); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Community Fellowship Church, 157 West Frontage Rd., Aiken, SC 29805. Buddy wanted to see his church grow and thrive and invited everyone he came in contact with to his church. He was proud to be a part of his church, where he worshipped The Lord with everything he had left to give.
