William “Frankie” Oxford

Hephzibah, GA – William “Frankie” Oxford, 53, husband of Rosa Louise Frazier Oxford, entered into rest on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at his residence.

Memorial services will be held from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors this Monday, February 19, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Terry Eubanks officiating.

Survivors include his children, Joey, Holly and her fiance’ Vic, Samantha, Angie and Alexis; his brothers, Broadus and Virgil Oxford; and his grandchildren, William Oxford, Payton Odom and Ayden Oxford.

Mr. Oxford was a native of Fort Gordon, GA and the son of the late Charles Henry and Jewel McCormick Oxford. He spent a good part of his life in Tulsa, OK where he worked Tulsa World Newspaper and he came to love college football, especially the teams at Oklahoma Univeristy and Oklahoma State University. He recently moved back to Augusta where he was working for R.R.B. trucking and enjoying spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Mr. Oxford loved being outdoors where he hunted, fished and grilled out, he loved to laugh and was always having fun. He was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.
