Augusta, GA – William Chet White, 54, husband of Diane McKnight White, entered into rest Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at his residence.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 3:00 PM from The Sanctuary, 4584 Cox Rd, Evans, GA, with Pastor Brian Cockrell, Dr. H. Kelly McKnight, and Reverend Timothy Pendrey officiating.
Mr. White, a native of Cuthbert, GA, worked as a paper maker with Resolute Forest Products and was a member of The Sanctuary. He was also a member of the National Hills Pool and the Mouth of the Creek Hunt Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his parents, Ruby Roney Dell, of Albany, GA, and William Lee White, also of Albany, GA; his sons, Philip Taylor White, of Blacksburg, VA, and Evan McKnight White, of Augusta; his daughter, Megan Delaney White, of Augusta; his brothers, William Keith White, of Albany, and Eric Lee White (Kim), of Panama City Beach, FL; his sisters, Ruby Robbin Lamb, of Albany, GA, and Yonnie Price (Scott), also of Albany, GA; and many nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be co-workers of Resolute Forest Products.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 3, 2017, immediately following the service at the church.
