William “Bill” Vautrin

Evans, GA – Willam “Bill” Vautrin, 57, husband of Raelene Webber Vautrin, entered into rest Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Doctor’s Hospital.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 6, 2013, from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. at Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, May 4, 2013, at 3:00 P.M., from the Unitarian Universalist Church of Augusta with the Reverend Dacia Reid officiating.
Mr. Vautrin, a native of San Quentin, France, had lived in the Augusta area for the past thirty years, and was the son of the late Robert Miller. He had worked for Richmond County Board of Education as a painter and had served ten years as a medic in the U.S. Army. Mr. Vautrin was a member of the Augusta Choral Society and the Knights of Eastwind and he was a member of theUnitarian Universalist Church of Augusta where he sang in the Choir and was in the Drumming Circle . He was an avid camper who loved traveling with his family.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Vautrin is survived by his children, William Andrew and his wife Shari Vautrin of Evans, Krystal Webber of Augusta and Rayna Vautrin of Evans; his mother, Leone Pispisa of Martinez; and a grandchild, Armand Traina.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to The Unitarian Universalist Church of Augusta, 3501 Walton Way , Augusta , GA , 30909 .
