Waylon “Keith” Cribb

Grovetown, GA – Waylon “Keith” Cribb, 61, husband of the late Cindy Thompson Cribb, entered into rest Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Piedmont Hospital of Augusta.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors, with Dr. Dwayne Carter officiating.

Mr. Cribb, son of the late Cassie Margaret Hannon Cribb and Waylon G. Cribb, was born in Hialeah, FL, but lived most of his life in Augusta, GA. He was Manager of Johnny Recaps Tire Store for many years. He retired as an equipment operator with Argos Concrete Company. Mr. Cribb enjoyed growing tomato and pepper plants to share with others. He loved to go to NASCAR Races and raft the Savannah River with his friends. He also enjoyed watching football and cheering on his Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons. He was a hard worker and devoted friend, and he cherished spending time with his family.

He is survived by his stepchildren, Holly Allen and Will Eisele; his mother-in-law and father in-law, Marie and Roy Ellis; his sister, Wanda Baston (Donald); his niece, Kayla Adkins (Ben); his nephew, Andrew Baston (Brittney), his great nieces; Evie Adkins and Emily Baston; several bother-in-laws and a sister-in-law and numerous (as in lots of) aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also left behind his beloved fur babies. Bubba & Sissy.

Honorary Pallbearers will be special friends, John Fleischauer, Larry Rabun and Teri Speegle.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 o’clock until the hour of service at the funeral home.
