Thomas Scott Harkins

Hephzibah, GA  – Thomas Scott Harkins, 56, entered into rest Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Augusta University Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 3:00 PM, from Whispering Pine Baptist Church, 4573 Windsor Spring Road, Hephzibah, GA 30815, with Pastor Kevin Townes officiating.

Mr. Harkins, son of the late Juanita Nelson and James Wesley Harkins, was born in Lansdale, Germany. He was a member of Whispering Pines Baptist Church. He was a Glenn Hills High School graduate. He had the biggest open heart and gave of himself to everyone. He was also an AVID Georgia Bulldog fan, and he was ecstatic to see them win the National Championship Title of 2022.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Billy Rogers; his sister, Terry Salvesen; and his brother, Michael Harkins.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Harkins; his siblings, Sue Thomas (Mike), Gloria Rogers, Tammy Wise (Ricky), and Timothy Harkins; his numerous nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at 2:00 PM, at the church, until time of service.
