Ted “Russel” Collins, Jr.

Augusta, GA – Ted “Russel” Collins, Jr. 38,, beloved son of Mary and Ted Collins, Sr., entered into rest on Tuesday, July 12, 2016.

Memorial services will be held from Berlin United Methodist Church this Friday, July 15, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Jennie Hyatt officiating.

Mr. Collins, a native and lifelong resident of McBean was an avid go cart racer, having won the World Karting Association National Championship. He was a member of Berlin United Methodist church, he loved to fish and was a fun loving uncle, brother and son.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his sisters, Susan Collins Curry and Robyn Collins Kramer and her husband Tony; his nieces and nephews, Heather, Halie, Stephen, Ashton and Saxon Curry, Ryann, Brooks and CJ Kramer; his loving Aunt Joan Collins Ashley; as well as a host of cousins.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

    in Augusta for such a talented man to be snatched away so suddenly.
