Stan Witkowski
Hephzibah, GA – Stan Witkowski, 52, husband of the late, Cheri Thompson Witkowski, entered into rest Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the residence.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. from Berlin United Methodist Church, with the Reverend James Hyder officiating. Interment to follow in the Berlin United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Witkowski will lie in state at the church from 2:00 until the hour of the service.
Mr. Witkowski had lived in Richmond County most of his life and worked as the Parts Manager for Bob Richards Nissan. He was a member of Berlin United Methodist Church where he was the layleader. Mr. Witkowski loved to hunt, fish, play golf, watch NASCAR and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.
Survivors include his son, Nathan Cole Witkowski; his daughter, Miranda Blair Witkowski; his mother, Sylvia Witkowski; his brother, David Witkowski; sister, Lilly Owens (Mark); his mother and father-in-law, Eleanor and Jimmy Thompson; and his brothers-in-law, Rusty (Debra) Thompson and Dennis (Pam) Thompson.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Gilliland, Brent Gosneigh, Tim Morris, Shaun Morris, Ray Sapp, Jr., and Mike Russell.
If deisred, memorials may be made to Berlin United Methodist Church, 1518 Hephzibah-McBean Road, Hephzibah, GA 30815.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

So sorry for your loss went to high school with Stan and he was a good friend! Praying for the family may he rest in peace.
My heart breaks for Sylvia and stans children. Only God knows what the plan is. My thoughts and prayers for everyone. Sorry I could not be there but know that I am with ya’ll in spirit. RIP Stan.
