Saralyn Mixon Barrentine

Augusta, GA – Saralyn Mixon Barrentine, 66, wife of the late William J. Barrentine, of Kissingbower Rd, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 24, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors, with Elder Max Hicks officiating.
Interment will follow in Powells Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Kite, GA, at 3:00 PM on Saturday.
Mrs. Barrentine, daughter of the late Charles and Sara Mae Smith Mixon, was a native of Johnson County, Georgia. She was a member of First Primitive Baptist Church, the Adult Bible Study and the choir.
She is survived by her son, Troy R. Barrentine and his wife Jennifer, of Charleston, SC; her grandchildren, Emma Marie Barrentine and Willa Atley Barrentine, also of Charleston; her stepson, Curt J. Barrentine, of Boston, MA; her stepdaughter, Cheryl Barrentine, of Jackson, NJ; and her brother, Willie T. Mixon and his wife, Annette, of Wrightsville, GA.
Pallbearers will be Bill Waters, Bill Elliott, Herman Kitchens, Mark Dengate, Ed Groover, Ray Grubbs and Barry Mixon.

The family will receive friends Friday, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
