  1. I am a cousin to Sandra Bowman, I really miss her already, just Sandra on facebook. Love You Always, Nancy A. Hernandez

  2. Sandra was loved by many persons in the special needs community of Augusta. Her kindness will be missed. She touched many lives. My brother instinctively knew that he could confide in her and that she was “safe”. We shared wonderful times as “the Lunch Bunch”, at parties, dances, outings, bowling, and other fun activities. Christopher, we are praying for you. Ronald and I loved your wonderful mom.

  3. My name is Cindy Williams Smith and Mrs. Bowman was my geometry teacher in the 9th grade in 1975. She was the most compassionate, funny, devilish teacher I ever had. She is the reason that I became a math teacher. My husband, Berry, and I were so competitive in Mrs. Bowman’s class, and she enjoyed messing with us.

Later, I had the opportunity to teach with Mrs. Bowman at Curtis Baptist. She was a wonderful woman with whom to work. I learned so much from Sandra in and out of the classroom. She was my hero!!!

My heart goes out to Alan and Keelyn, but especially to Christopher. He was always her sidekick.
    With so much love,

    Cindy

  4. Christian sister for over 40 years. I’m sad to hear this news, yet I know that she has been joyfully greeted by Cree. Alan, Keely, & Christopher I send my love.

  5. My father Harry Mobley was Tom Mobley’s brother My wife Marilyn and I express our sympathies to the family and will be making a donation in Sandra’s name

  6. What a sweet woman. I met her as part of the special needs community. She was tireless in support of Christopher, and as such, she was supportive of all the others and parents, who associated with Christopher. She is a great loss but what a wonderful gain she has made!! Heaven !!
