Augusta, GA – Mrs. Sammy Kay Page Watson, 62, wife of Jack Watson entered into rest Monday, February 10, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 2:00 P.M., in the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Billy Atkins officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Economos, Ryan Economos, Dillon Tankersley, Terry Norman, Sid Randall, and Frank Lackman.

She was born in Aiken, SC to the late Samuel and Betty Franklin Page. She was a member of Fleming Baptist Church and retired from the Richmond County Board Education.

Other survivors include her daughters, Donna Econmos ( Chuck) of North Augusta, Karen Tankersley (Tiger) of Grovetown and Michelle Miller (Chris) of Martinez; Step-sons, Darrell Watson (Jennifer) of Evans and Michael Watson (LeeAnn) of Augusta; brother, Ricky Craig; sisters, Inez Wilsey and Melody Hadden and nine grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home.

    My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Sammy was quite a fighter! I know she is celebrating all the beauty and peace of heaven right now. Can you just imagine she and CJ in some deep discussion right about now? She will truly be missed. Love you. Carolyn
