Roy “Peanut” Taylor

Blythe, GA – Roy “Peanut” Taylor, 52, entered into rest Thursday, November 22, 2012.
Plans for a funeral service are pending and will be announced.
Mr. Taylor was a native and lifelong resident of the Augusta area and was the son of the late Roy Russell and Trudy Amerson Taylor. He was a retired mechanic from Craven’s Auto Parts, a good natured, loving father, brother and grandfather and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry David Taylor.
He is survived by his son, Roy Lee Taylor; daughters, Candyann Taylor and Crystal Taylor; sisters, Joann Newman, Amanda Watts, Penny Taylor and Wanda Taylor; grandchildren, Cody, Emily, Makayla and Hannah Taylor and Joshua and Cory Germany.
The family will receive friends Sunday, from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.

  2. We just found out about “Peanut” today, 12/1/21012, by Mr. Charles, his ole friend. We were friends and neighbors in fish village. Peanut will be missed but never be forgotten. He was a great person and well known throught out the Community. May his light forever shine in glory!!
