Ronnie L Williams, Sr.

Williams entered into rest Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at GHSRU Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013 with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating.
Mr. Williams was born in Augusta to the late Oscar and Hattie Spears Williams and of the Baptist faith. He was a devoted husand and father.
He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor with the Richmond County Roads and Bridges Division. He retired in 2010 with 31 years of service. The family said he loved fishing, movies and working on cars. He loved watching TV shows about building hot rod cars.
Other survivors include his son, Ronnie Lee Williams, Jr., of Augusta; brother, Billy Williams of Harlem and his wife Brenda; sisters, Mary Berry of Aiken and her husband Chris, Betty Livingston of Augusta and her husband James and Brenda Arnette of Augusta and her husband James; several grandchildren and many neices and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the funeral home.

  1. dear dad. i love and miss u. u are gone but not forgotten.i come home that day to bring u some coconut cake. and make u a milkshake. i remember those days that we would ride off. u and mom. and me. we will always love u. love u.

  2. Dear Barbra and Lil Ronnie I am sorry that you have lost the greatest husband and father. He truly was a wonderful man. I still can see that big smile. He will be missed by many to include me.

  3. I would like to offer my condolences to the family of Ronnie Williams Sr. Times like this is hard to deal with, but the Bible gives us a hope of being able to see our dead loved ones again. There is a scripture at Acts 24:15 that states “there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” I hope you get a chance to look that scripture up with your copy of the Bible and I hope that you find comfort in reading it.

  4. we remember Ronnie as a child , that smile is still contagious as an adult !! my husband {pat s} ,passed in 2008, from cancer, pancreas,liver…..& so on… 1 month after being diagnosed…..so I can relate….hang in there, there will be a sweet reunion 1 day
