Ronald “Ronnie” Riley

Augusta, GA – Ronald “Ronnie” C. Riley, 64, loving husband of Barbara Boulay Riley went to join his mother Saturday, November 30, 2013 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., in the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Tobin Burnett officiating.

Ronnie reitred from Georgia Power in 1992 and had worked at High Voltage Specialist until his second retirement in 2011. He was a avid NASCAR fan and a gun collector.

Other survivors include his sons, Daryl M. Riley, Sr., and Stephen B. Riley of Augusta; grandaughter, Megan Riley; grandsons, Daryl M. Riley, Jr., and Harrison Riley; stepsons, Edward Boulay, Jr., of Lunenburg, VT and Robert Boulay and family of Carmel, ME; his beloved sister, Donna Johnson and her husband Billy of Augusta and his aunt Doris Heard.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 A.M., until the hour of service at the funeral home.

  1. I am very sorry for your loss. Although not a blood relative I have always considered Ronnie as a cousin. May God be with him and share his consoling grace with the family at this difficult time. I am sorry that I will not be able to be with you Friday.

  2. When you had Ronnie as a friend, you had a *true* friend and we’ve lost a true friend. He was a good man with an enormous heart and a sense of humor to match. He’ll be missed by all his family and friends. Our hearts are heavy with his loss. May your memories comfort you and carry you through the days ahead. Smooth sailing, our friend. Rest in peace.

  3. Barbara, Daryl and Steve….I am so sorry to hear about Ronnie’s passing. He had been a good friend for many years. He will be greatly missed. Although I can’t be with y’all, my thoughts and prayers will be.
