Hephzibah, GA – Robin Detgen Flournoy, 51, entered into rest Monday, January 21, 2013, at Eisenhower Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at 6:00 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors, with Reverend Gordon Brodie and Minister Betty Lee officiating.
Mrs. Flournoy was born in Baltimore, MD, and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Samuel Walker,; her stepmother, Carolyn F. Harvey; and by her brothers, Kevin Harvey and Rodney Harvey.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Flournoy, Hephzibah; her son, De’Mario Flournoy, Atlanta; her stepsons, De’Marquis Flournoy (Tamika), Villa Rica, GA, and Brandon Clark, Hephzibah; her stepdaughters, Natarsia Flournoy, Dallas, GA, and Jasmine McKenzie, VA Beach, VA; her grandchildren, De’Mauri Flournoy, Aniya Flournoy, Brianna Flournoy, and Jalen Flournoy; her father, Robert Harvey (Carol), Hinesville, GA; her mother, Darlene Walker, Baltimore, MD; her brothers, William L. “Bill” Harvey (Tammy), Grovetown, and Samuel Dietrich, Lubock, TX; her sister, Cindy Harvey, Baltimore, MD; her mother in law, Ora Lee Flournoy, Hephzibah; her sisters in law, Pam Harvey, North Augusta, Beaulah Proctor, Waynesboro, Juanita Herrington, Hephzibah, Belinda V. Hall (Charles), Augusta, and Teresa Hawthorne (Keith), Hephzibah; her brothers in law, Willie Flournoy (Fannie), Augusta, Alvin Flournoy Jr (Rosemary), College Park, GA, and Jimmy Flournoy (Lisa), of Hephzibah; her uncle, Buddy Dietrich (Brenda); her aunt, Marlene Leary; several nieces and nephews; family friend, Willie Marshall; and her best friend, Louise Allen.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 23, from 5:00 until the hour of service at the funeral home.
