  1. I truly cannot believe that you have left us.. You were and still are the best Father that God could have blessed us with. Daddy you will be missed more than anything but the hardest part of losing you is learning how to live without you. I will be forever grateful that you were my Daddy and that you were in my life and that you loved all of us completely.

  6. Sally and family, I am so saddened to learn of Richard’s transition into heaven. I remember years ago he told my husband about meeting you and how well you got along with each other. I did not mention that you and I were friends because I enjoyed hearing how smitten he was with you. He said you were just happy to be with him and I know he felt the same. He went on to say how compatible you were; that he did not need to take you out here and there because being together was what you both wanted. You were both so fortunate you found each other and were blessed with a great life together. It’s never long enough. God will carry you through this grief. May the precious memories you created together bring you comfort and peace. I am truly sorry for your loss.

  7. Played senior softball with Richard for several years. He was a quality gentleman. Wish we had more like him in this world. Looking forward to seeing him again in Heaven.

  8. Vicki and family, your dad was one of the most nice, courteous and friendly person you could ever ask for. I knew him when I worked with him at Carswell and Kirk Real Estate some 53 years ago. He spoke on you often and I did meet your mother a time or so. Prayers be with you all during this time.

  10. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Richard as he and my dad Bud Lane, played Senior softball together. The first time I met him I knew right away he was a southern gentleman, very down to earth and team player all the way. He really enjoyed the teammates and made them feel special. Rip Mr. Richard
