Rhonda Plyler Fleischauer

Augusta, GA – Mrs. Rhonda Plyler Fleischauer, 51, beloved wife of Mr. John D. Fleischauer and mother of Trevor Fleischauer, received her miracle and went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors this Saturday at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Chris Williford officiating. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Fleischauer, a native of Lancaster, SC, was the daughter of the late Jimmy E. Plyler and Brenda Gay Peach Moree. She was a Hair Stylist for over 25 years and loved helping people by volunteering at the Cancer Center at University Hospital. She was a devout Christian and a member of Believers Fellowship Church where she sang with the Praise Team and was a Children’s Church Teacher. She was a loving mother to her son and family and a devoted member of her church.

Other survivors include her brothers, Darin (Kathryn) Plyler and Timmy Plyler; and her sister, Lynn (Tony) Dixon.

Pallbearers will be, Anthony Dixon, Raymond Fleischauer, Michael Flynn, Les Lamb, Tim Miller and Tony Dixon.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

  1. John,Trevorfamily and friends, this woman was not just my beautician, she became a wonderful friend that I could lean on any time I needed her. She prayed with me during difficult times in my life and assured me that God would be there for me.
    She will be missed by all who knew her.

Over the past 25years that I got to know Rhonda and have her cut my hair she became one of those people that would put her problems aside to listen to yours and try to make you feel better,she really became a very good friend to my family and myself and will be thought of and missed so very much.
