Randall Lee “ Randy” Borren

Augusta, GA – Randall Lee “Randy” Borren entered into rest Saturday, December 15, 2012, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 20, 2012, at 2:00 PM, from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors, with Reverend Lloyd Green, Reverend Keith Towns, and Dr. Billy Turner officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park .
Mr. Borren, son of the late Miriam Morgan Borren and Sterling J. Borren, Sr, was a native of Augusta. He was a retired floral designer and had the distinction of being named Floral Designer of the Year. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. He was a lifelong Georgia Tech fan and enjoyed many years of attending yellow jacket games and cheering for the white and gold. He was kind, caring, and compassionate.
He was preceded in death by Sassy.
He is survived by his brother, Sterling J. Borren, Jr, of Hephzibah; his sister, Gail Turlington, of Augusta ; his nephews, Ron Masters, Marshall Masters, Scott Borren, and Mich ael Borren; four great nephews; five great nieces; his special friend, Elizabeth Logue; and his dog, Cassie.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Borren, Butch Pa lmer, Chad Masters, Curtis Thornton, Corey LaFontaine, and Danny Caraway.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 19, 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

    held everyone together and we will all feel your loss each and every day.

  3. Gail and Jay, wish we could be there with you. Randy was one of a kind. We loved him so much. We talked on the phone, we laughed and cried together. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Hope to see you soon.
