Paul Eubanks

Augusta, GA – Mr. Paul Eubanks, 74, loving husband of over fifty years to Sharon Olivia McAfee Eubanks, entered into rest on Monday, November 2, 2015 at University Hospital.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick funeral Directors this Friday, November 6, 2015, at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Billy Atkins officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
Mr. Eubanks, the son of the late Walter Ted and Dora Heath Eubanks, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had retired from Augusta Service Company. He was a member and deacon of Fleming Baptist Church where he served with pride and commitment.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children, Kimberly Dawn (Dan) Durden, Jonathan Paul (Heidi) Eubanks, Rebecca Olivia (Ashley) Brown; three grandchildren, Jordan Paul Eubanks, John Chandler Brown and Kendall Olivia Brown; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
If desired, memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Fleming Baptist Church, 3027 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, GA 30906.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.

  1. We were so blessed to have known such a wonderful person. Our hearts are heavy with sadness and we will miss his soft spoken words of friendship. We lift up Olivia and the entire family in prayer for comfort and healing in a way that only the Lord can provide. We all were blessed with such a person as Paul Eubanks!

  4. So very saddened,to learn of this today. My heart ,goes out to Olivia, their children ,and Ms. Ruth. Praying The Holy Spirit’s peace and comfort ,envelope them now , and in the coming days.
    What a blessing Paul was to all he met. Such a strong,able man and a truly caring person. Will miss his smile, and the great conversations. Charlie and I loved and esteemed this gentleman.

  5. God has blessed us with the wonderful memories of Paul. He was a second daddy to my daughter, Melanie Taylor. For his kindness I am truly grateful. My heart is heavy for his family.

  6. Olivia, Mrs. Ruth, and family, Paul was a wonderful man. I appreciate all that he has done for may parents, Pete & Sara O’Neal, all these years. I remember him taking Daddy and Mr Walter to the Imperial Theater to watch the shows. Daddy really liked that. I pray that God’s arms wrap you and comfort you at this time.

  8. Paul was one of my first supervisors and was very Patient with me early in my career and taught me a lot , I will always cherish those memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you with the family at this difficult time.
