North Augusta, SC – Robert Mitchell “Robby” Jones, 52, husband of Brandy Badua Jones entered into rest on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at his residence. Memorial services will be held from the chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 12 o’clock with Pastor Mike Ogdan officiating. Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11 o’clock to the hour of the service at Chance & Hydrick funeral home. Mr. Jones, son of Patrick E. Jones and Regina Baker Jones, was born in Ft. Benning, GA. October 6, 1973. He was raised in Hephzibah, GA. He was a 1992 graduate of Hephzibah High School and attended Abraham Baldwin in Tifton, GA. He was a member of UA Local 188 in Savannah and a pipefitter by trade. He loved to fish and take long country drives with his sidekick Shadow; his beloved dog and he was a huge fan of the Georgia Bulldogs. He was a strong-willed child of God, adored man with an amazing heart of “gold” who touched the lives of all he encountered. To know the depths of his beautiful soul, his true love in God and helping others simply by his words, his pure beliefs and knowledge, his caring gestures, acts of kindness was, is and will always be deeply treasured and forever dear within our hearts. With grace of God simply unmatched and honorable blessing in the spirit of a best friend, compassionate companion and a wonderful husband. He was a giver and a protector for all. He loved his Lord and never gave up on his faith. Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his grandparents, Max and Sadie Baker; grandfathers, Louis Hamilton and Mike Jones; uncles, Mike, Fred, Brett Jones and Glenn Baker. In addition to the love of his life, Brandy Badua Jones he is survived by his parents; his children, Hunter Tyler (Sarah), and Tiffany Lanier (Anson); his grandchildren, Dahlia Jones, Kenzie Lanier; his sister, Angela (Bruce) Smith; nieces, Georgia (Micah) Burnett, Kylie Smith; his nephew, Spencer Smith; his beloved mother in law who loved him like a second son and called him fuzzy; his grandmother Roberta Hamilton, along with several other family members.
