MSG Byron P. Miller, U.S. Army (Retired)

Augusta, GA – MSG Byron P. Miller, U.S. Army (Retired), 87, husband of Lois Miller, entered into rest Saturday, November 4, 2017, at the Georgia War Veterans Nursiing Home.

Graveside services with Full Military Honors will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at 2:00 PM from Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Family and friends are requested to assemble at the graveside.

Mr. Miller, son of the late Randel and Bertha Jeffries Miller, was a native of Andalusia, Alabama. He served in the United States Army for 27 years and was in both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was a member of American Legion Post #178.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his son, Ray Miller (Pauline), of Freeport, FL; his daughters, Jean Odum, of Freeport, FL, Regina Strickland (Ben), of Augusta, and Tanya Wilkes (Billy), of Augusta; his sister, Sara McClendon, of Andalusa, AL; 11 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 7, 2017, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
