Mrs. Lila Skinner Erwin

Waynesboro, GA – Mrs. Lila Skinner Erwin, 86, of Waynesboro, GA, wife of Reverend Henry K. Erwin, entered into rest, Saturday, September 26, 2009, at the residence, surrounded by family.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, October 4, 2009, at 2:00 PM from the First United Methodist Church of Waynesboro.
Mrs. Erwin was born in Ozark, AL and grew up in Columbus, GA, from the age of two.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by five daughters, eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandchild.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the fellowship hall of First United Methodist Church of Waynesboro.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Mission Fund at First United Methodist Church, PO Box 420, Waynesboro, GA 30830 or to the United Hospice Foundation, Inc, 620 Ponder Place Drive, Ste A, Evans, GA 30809, and designated for Camp Cocoon.

  1. You are so wrong. My children who are under 26, DEFINITELY beiefnt already from the provisions of the Affordable Health Care Act. You guys are living in the Stone Age. Have you ever been to Europe? Have you ever been denied coverage because of a totally unrelated “pre-existing” condition? This law will enable us to move forward and actually begin cutting healthcare costs. THIS is what will bankrupt the US not the provision of universal healthcare, shared by all Americans, as it is in every other civilized country on this planet. Last of all, rationing is what we have NOW in our healthcare system. It’s immoral and despicable.
