Mrs. Elsie Masters
Funeral services will be held from Burns Memorial United Methodist Church at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 31, 2013, with the Reverend Keith Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Masters, a native of Gracewood, GA, was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Jennie Ledoyen Crenshaw. She retired from the Liberty County School System in Hinesville, GA.
In addition to her husband, Bill G. Masters, she was preceded in death by her four brothers, Vic, Joe, Billy and Cluese Crenshaw; her two sisters, Mary Lou Gault and Dorothy “Dot” Powell also of Augusta.
Survivors include her son, Wayne Masters and his wife Patricia; her daughter,
Wanda Masters Cross and her husband Gene; her two sisters, Margaret Moye and Martha Wehrle; grandchildren, Kessler Dixon, Chandler Masters and Shawnee Bell; as well as eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ray Crenshaw, Rodney Crenshaw, Ronnie Masters, Dave Drown, Chuck Ford and Wayne Hogan.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Burns Memorial United Methodist Church, 2732 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, GA, 30906.
The family will receive friends this Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
