  1. To the Gilmer Family
I am at loss for words because Michael was like an adopted son to me. I met Michael when I moved to Augusta in 2009.
Michael was commander of the VFW and I was commander of the American Legion. We shared a lot together. I truly will miss him
To the family I would like to send my heart felt condolences, love and prayers. Praying that you find that peace that passeth all understanding and that the Lord is there to comfort you in these hours of sadness.
    With Love and prayers

  2. Shocking and sad to hear about Mike’s passing. We had just been in contact with each other.
We truly do not know the day nor the hour.
Aunt Zett and family I truly pray for God’s peace for all, there’s no peace like the Lord’s peace, it surpasses all human understanding. Let’s us all hold to God’s unchanging hand. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He never puts on us anymore than we can bear! Trust him Aunt Zett when you can’t trace him! Let’s all be well and faithful because he’s faithful!
