Mrs. Ansley, daughter of the late Bernice McGallied Regan and Horace Henry Regan, was born in Fort Benning, GA, and was a homemaker. She had a great sense of humor, and had a way of bringing a smile to everyone she met, especially with her jokes. She loved to go walking and she loved playing Bingo. She loved her kids more than life itself, and also loved her grand fur babies. She enjoyed her new buddy, “Thumper”, whom she would watch at the window from her recliner. She will be missed by many and never forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sadie Baker, Evelyn Alexander, and Marilyn Brumitt; and by her brother, Alwyn “A.B.” Regan.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Braswell (Clark Wood), and James Edward Ansley, Jr.; her brothers, Huey H. Regan (Fay), and Richard D. Regan.
If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd, Augusta, GA 30909.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
