Mark and Jackie Cleveland

Thomson, GA – Jackie Cleveland, 51, wife of the late Mark Cleveland, entered into rest Friday, September 3, 2021, at Augusta University Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 1:00 PM, from the Alleluia Community Cemetery, 4763 Luckeys Bridge Road, Dearing, GA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside.

Mrs. Cleveland, daughter of the late Blanca Torres Pedraza and Vincente Pedraza, was born in Chicago, IL and was an LPN. She was a member of Queen of Angels Church in Thomson, GA.

She is survived by her children, Michael David Cleveland (Magen), Meagan Marie Medina (Carlos), Ashley Nicole Rogers (Holden), and Gregory Alan Cleveland (Madi); her grandchildren, Brooklyn Cleveland, Sophia Cleveland, Emilee Grace Rogers, Jack Cleveland, Riley Rogers, Noah Rogers, and Braydin Rogers; and her siblings, Maria Fountain, Vince Pedraza (Kathy), Hector Pedraza (Beverly), Robert Thomas (Georgi Ann), and Jacqueline Jones (Jerome).

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, September 8, 2021, from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.

Thomson, GA – Mark Cleveland, 52, husband of the late Jackie Cleveland, entered into rest Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the Charlie Norwood Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 1:00 PM, from the Alleluia Community Cemetery, 4763 Luckeys Bridge Road, Dearing, GA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside.

Mr. Cleveland was born in Huntsville, AL, and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Gulf War. He was an oil field technician and a member of Queen of Angels Church in Thomson, GA.

He is survived by his father, Billy Fray Cleveland; his mother, Alice Cleveland; his children, Michael David Cleveland (Magen), Meagan Marie Medina (Carlos), Ashley Nicole Rogers (Holden), and Gregory Alan Cleveland (Madi); his grandchildren, Brooklyn Cleveland, Sophia Cleveland, Emilee Grace Rogers, Jack Cleveland, Riley Rogers, Noah Rogers, and Braydin Rogers; and his siblings, Michael Cleveland, Melissa Powell, Melynda Cleveland, and Matthew Cleveland.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, September 8, 2021, from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.

  1. So sorry to hear this. Growing up, Mark was a great kid, and I have many fond memories of him and his sense of humor. I know he and Jackie were so loved, and will be missed tremendously. Praying for the family during this time of grief. May God give peace and comfort that goes beyond all understanding!
