Margie Faglier Cook

Augusta, GA – Margie Faglier Cook, 85, wife of the late Arthur Albert Cook, Jr, entered into rest Friday, April 11, 2014, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 2:30 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend James Bland and Reverend Tommy Harwell officiating.

Interment will follow in Gibson Cemetery, Gibson, GA at 5:00 PM.

Mrs. Cook, daughter of the late Kermit K. and Janie Parrish Faglier, was born in Jefferson County, GA, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Bayvale Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Mazina Hawkins, and her brothers, Sidney Faglier and K.K. Faglier, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Roy T. Black, and his wife, Patsy, of Waynesboro; and her daughters, Connie B. Jackson, of Gibson, and Lisa D. Black, of Augusta; her grandchildren, Jennifer B. Barefield (Mitch) and Jaime B. Carey; her sisters, Mary Todd, of Beech Island, SC, Gladys Coulter, of North Augusta, SC, and Frances James, of Hephzibah; and her great grandchildren, Mitchell Barefield, Wyatt Carey, and Dawson Carey.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 12, 2013, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
