Ronald Floyd Drake Sr.

Mr. Ronald Floyd Drake Sr. (81) entered into rest Sunday, August 10, 2025, in Ruskin, FL. Mr. Drake, known as Pops to everyone in his life, lived in Plant City, FL. He was born and raised in Augusta, GA. There he met his first wife Louise and they had 3 wonderful children together. While there he served his community as a motorcycle police officer until moving to FL and then serving West Palm Beach He took his knowledge and passion for motorcycles and race cars and opened R&R Automotive later turning into All Pro Cycles and became an extremely successful entrepreneur. Appearing in many magazines, articles, shows, and was sought after for custom builds, personal style, and unmatched talent. Pops turned All Pro Cycles into a household name and it became a haven to those who needed it. Pops employed many over the years and taught others his passion including his family. It's said that if you're born into the Drake family that you are born with a need to ride or race in your bones. I have yet to find this untrue. Pops was a devout christian and would combine his love for Christ with his passion for motorcycles and was able to spread the word of God to others, sometimes reaching people that would seem impossible. Please see Matthew 19:26. Pops had a deep devotion to his family, to him they were everything and his greatest blessing from God. His love for them was unwavering and unconditional. Pops had many friendships and would often help anyone he could. He especially loved to race with his best friend of a lifetime Mr. JC Cook. He had many things he enjoyed including playing baseball when he was younger and the guitar, both of which have been passed down through the family as well. Pops spent his days doing the things he loved, spending time with his wonderful wife Dale Jordan Drake and enjoying Sundays at Free Rider fellowship Church. He has left a legacy that will live on not only through his family but all those he touched with his presence in life. He will be truly and deeply missed by all. He is survived by his wife; Dale Jordan Drake Children; Marci Drake (Rob), Tina Drake (Thomas), and only son Ronald F. Drake, Jr. (Tricia) Grandchildren; Tamra (Tony) and Alisha (Forrest) Great-grandchildren; Calvin (Hannah), Ashleigh (Jacob), Kenzi, and Yael Great great-grandchild; Madison He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise, his parents, Thomas Floyd Drake and Ollie Pearl Drake, and his first and oldest grandson, Jeremy Lee Reeves. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025. The celebration of life will start at 2:00 PM, Service will be officiated by Pastor Aaron at Free Rider Fellowship Church. Fellowship and dinner will follow after the service is completed.
