Joseph "Adam" Ladd

Joseph Adam Ladd, who is lovingly known as Adam, a loving husband to Jennifer Ladd, entered into rest on December 14, 2025, he passed away at the age of 43 after a courageous battle with brain cancer, at his residence. Memorial services honoring Adam’s life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 2 o’clock at Hillcrest Baptist Church, located at 3045 Dean’s Bridge Rd. Augusta, GA 30906. Mr. Ladd, son of the late Curtis Wade Ladd and Vicki Lynn Ladd was born in Augusta, GA. Adam was a dedicated HVAC technician, known for his strong work ethic, kindness, and willingness to help others. Adam had a deep passion for watching sports and especially loved cheering on his favorite teams, the Tennessee Titans and the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was a devoted husband to Jennifer Erin Ladd and a loving father to their three children; Joseph Braydon Ladd who will turn 21 in February, Kailey Reese Ladd, who recently turned 17, and Liam Austyn Ladd who is 5. His greatest joy came from spending time with his children- playing, laughing with them, and simply being present in their lives. Above all else, Adam was a family man whose love and devotion were evident in everything he did. Adam’s strength, resilience, and unwavering love will forever live on through his children and all who were blessed to know him. In addition to his loving wife and children he is survived by his mother; Vicki Lynn Ladd; his sister, Mary Helen Stevens; his brother, Curtis Wade Ladd; his best friend, Michael “Porkchop” Bryan. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his cherished granddaddy “Gran-Gran”; his beloved grandmother “Maw Maw”. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to help with lingering medical expenses and to provide financial support for the family during this difficult time.
