Beverly Delina Tanner

April 3, 1960 – January 16, 2026 Beverly Delina Williams Tanner, lovingly known as “BB” or “Bev,” was born on April 3, 1960, in Floyd County, Rome, Georgia, and raised in the Augusta, Georgia area. On January 16, 2026, Beverly peacefully answered her Heavenly Father’s call and went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by love. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Neva Thompson Williams; her father, Charles Simpson Williams, lovingly known as “Simp” or “CS”; and her brother, Rex D. Williams. Beverly is survived by her two devoted loving daughters, Heather Whitt (Jeremy Whitt) and Neva Giffin (Tripp Giffin). She leaves behind three precious grandchildren, Jade Delina Whitt Suarez (Fernando), Jericho Clayton Whitt, and Jedidiah Edward Whitt, who were the light of her life. She also leaves four cherished fur-grandbabies—Sable Lynn, Duke, Daisy, and Lilly. She is also survived by her loving siblings: Dale Williams; Diann Marum (Ernie); Tommy Williams; Sonja Moore (LeRoy); Donny Williams; and Danny Williams; along with a lot of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles, all of whom she loved with her whole heart. Beverly had a beautiful Joyful spirit, contagious laugh and a smile no one could ever forget. She never met a stranger and had a special way of making everyone she met feel welcomed, valued, loved and most importantly like family. She loved to sing, dance, and loved Elvis Presley, Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, and Travis Tritt. Beverly faithfully worked at Sconyers Bar-B-Que for over 15 years as a plate maker, where she gained not just coworkers, but a second family she held close. Beverly found peace in God’s creation—whether fishing, traveling to the mountains, or simply spending time with those she loved. She was a proud mother of two, a devoted granny to three treasured grandchildren, and a loving fur-granny to her four adored fur-grandbabies. She was also an “extra” mama and granny to many, always opening her heart and arms to anyone. Though she will be deeply missed, we rejoice knowing Beverly is now healed, whole, and resting in the presence of her Savior. Her love, laughter, and faith will live on in all who were blessed to know her. The family will receive family and friends and host a time of fellowship following the service on Tuesday January 27,2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Hephzibah Baptist Church, located at 2527 Georgia Highway 88, Hephzibah, Georgia 30815.
