Ann Miriam Toole Lamb-Lowder

Hephzibah, GA - Ann Lamb-Lowder 94, passed away on January 9, 2026, at Keysville Nursing Home. She was born on January 4, 1932 in Augusta, Georgia, the second child of Ollie and Gertrude Potter Toole. Ann grew up in Augusta where she attended Tubman High School. A few years after she married, they moved to Miami, Florida and returned to Georgia for a short period of time in the 1970’s. In 2021 she moved back to the Augusta area permanently. While living in Augusta she worked as a clerk at Hollinsworth Candy Company. She retired from the USB Bank in Summerfield, Florida. Ann was baptized at St Paul’s Episcopal Church and joined the Baptist church in the 1980’s. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 55 years. She was initiated in Richmond Chapter in Hephzibah, Georgia, and upon their consolidation with another chapter, became a member of Martinez Chapter 464 in Augusta. Her hobbies were working with her plants, cross-stitch, playing cards and domino games and cryptogram puzzles. Ann had 4 children, George Edward Lamb Jr.; Sherri Lamb Hoffman; Otis David Lamb (Gloria), and Thomas Patrick Lamb. She had 7 grandchildren and a number of great grand-children. Ann was preceded in death by her former husband, George E. Lamb, Sr. and husbands, Hillary Hyatt, Jr., Carl Rogers and Arnold Lowder; children, Eddie and wife, Olivia; Sherri and husband, Bill; and 2 great grandchildren, Kyle Wilson and Joshua McKinney; her parents, Gertrude and Ollie Toole; sisters, Virginia Lamb (Barrett) and Nadine Grayson (Frank) and brother, George Toole. Ann is survived by her sons, Otis David Lamb, of South Dakota and Thomas Patrick Lamb, of Summerfield, FL; her sister, J. Montine Mize, and brother-in-law Jimmie Mize, Hephzibah. Her grandchildren, Lynn Rogers, John Lamb, Kerri and Cheryl Lamb; Joseph, Kenneth, and Christopher Lamb; and by a number of nieces and nephews and friends. Grave side services for Ann will be at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Gracewood Cemetery, Augusta. The family will receive friends following the service.
