Jennifer "Jenny' Gunter

Waynesboro, GA - Jennifer "Jenny' Gunter, 46, beloved wife of Scott Gunter, entered into heaven Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at her residence while surrounded by loved ones. Jenny was known for her love of Christ, the love she had for her husband and children, and for her beautiful smile. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Believers Gospel Chapel, 3565 Peach Orchard Rd., Augusta, Georgia with David Hollingsworth and Randy Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in the Hollingsworth Family Cemetery, 5168 Storey Mill Rd, Hephzibah, GA. Mrs. Gunter, precious daughter of Dan and Carol Hollingsworth, of Hephzibah, taught school at Edmund Burke Academy in Waynesboro and was very active in many school clubs and activities. She loved her students and her school and she always made sure that students entering her classroom were presented with the truth of Christ's love. Through the testimony of her life, she led many to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Jenny was in fellowship at Believers Gospel Chapel and she unwaveringly loved her local church family and entrusted them with the continuing love and support of her family. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her treasured children: Gray Gunter, Caroline Gunter, and Clayton Gunter; her brother David Hollingsworth (Tammy), of Hephzibah; her sisters: Sara Brown (Jeremy), of Waynesboro, and Anna Hurley (Chris), of North Augusta; her mother and father-in-law: Roy and Marie Gunter, of Pelion, SC; and her cherished nieces and nephews.
