Augusta, GA - Estus Bernell "Daddy Rabbit" Riner, 79, beloved husband of 61 years to Mary Belle Gunn Riner, entered into rest on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors this Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. with the Elder Sam Adkins officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park . Mr. Riner was a native of Oak Park , GA , had made Augusta his home for most of his life and was the son of the late Estus Brown and Willie Irene "Bill" Riner. He had coached little league baseball for 9 years in his childrens' younger years and loved to golf and fish in retirement. He had retired from the Teamsters Union, Local # 506 having worked at Consolidated Freight as a truck driver. In addition to his parents Mr. Riner was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Joshua Riner and Carly Adkins. He is survived by his sons and their spouses, Joe and Sherry Riner, Jeff and Regina Riner, Scott and Robin Riner; his daughter and her husband, Tabatha and Sam Adkins; his grandchildren and their spouses, Jordan and Amber Riner, Jeffery Riner, Travis Riner, Fallon Riner, Clay Kincaid, Amanda and Mason Jones, Matthew Riner, Taylor Riner, Lindsey Riner, Christopher Riner, Cassidy Riner, Tucker Riner, William Riner, Ben and Lindsey Adkins and Beth, Russell Minton, Bailee Adkins and Preston Adkins; as well as six great grandchildren.
