Grovetown, GA – LaVane W. Brannen, 82, wife of the late Robert A. Brannen, Jr., entered into rest Saturday, April 27, 2019, at her residence.  

Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019, at 12:30 PM from Hillcrest Memorial Park.  Family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon at Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Brannen, daughter of the late Elsie Rosier Wilkinson and Clarence Frederick Wilkinson, was a homemaker, who loved to make hair bows, and worked as a private duty nurse after attending Talmadge Hospital.  She had been a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church and attended New House of Worship. 

She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas F. Wilkinson.

She is survived by her children, Deborah Perkins (Mike), of Hephzibah, Mary White (Mark), of Grovetown, and Robert A. Brannen III (Carol), of Blythe; her grandchildren, Amber Brannen, Joshua Brannen, Ashley Rachels, and August Perkins; her great grandchildren, Tammy Morrison, and Kimberleigh Boatwright; and numerous nieces and nephews.
