  1. Laura was one of the most remarkable women I have ever known. Her zest for life, and her love for Christ and her fellow man was beyond compare. May I become even half the woman she was.

  2. “Her unique interpretations of the scriptures will never be forgotten.” Truth in this world is always unique! Sorry I knew her only through Ellen.

  3. I have known Miss Laura since I was little. I have wonderful memories of her from Burns UMC. She had a big influence on me in my young walk with Christ. I have thought of her often. She is in heaven now with my mom and dad who also loved her dearly. They are rejoicing!

  4. Sorry i wasn’t able to make it today…Aunt Laura was some kind of special lady!! Always full off sass and class love, life and faith…she will be missed by many but I know she is singing and ringing her bells in Heaven!!! I got to see her playing the bells once!
