Larry Lee Green
Hephzibah, GA – Larry Lee Green, 63, of Hephzibah, Georgia (originally from Liberty, West Virginia), passed away on November 10, 2021, at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, after complications from Covid-19.
Larry was a carpenter, by trade and built many homes and did countless remodels and projects for so many people over the span of more than four decades. He loved to hunt, fish, spend time with his grandkids, grill out and host cookouts for his family and friends.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents William Arnold Green and Goldie Ellen Green, and his brother Jerry Green.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Annalee (Belcher) Green of Hephzibah; his two daughters, Mary Rose (Green) McFall of Augusta, and Amber Lee Green of Hephzibah; his brother, Donald Green of Poca, West Virginia; his sisters, Valajean Strozier (Eddie) of Bath, Maine, and Mary Ellen Davis (Kenny) of Buffalo, West Virginia. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Tyler, Aubrey and Jason Hopkins of Hephzibah, along with too many nieces, nephews, in-laws and close friends to list.
At his request, there will be no services held. In lieu of services, family and close friends will hold a memorial BBQ cookout in his honor, as it is what he loved to do. Larry would much rather have his family and friends gather and have a celebration than have a sad service. He will be greatly missed by those that knew him, as his personality was truly one of a kind.
