Johnny J. Bradley

Augusta – Mr. Johnny Jackson Bradley, 62, husband of Mrs. Sandra Hunter Bradley, entered into rest on Monday, September 16, 2013, at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Ft. Gordon.

 A memorial service with full military honors will be held in the veterans section at Hillcrest Memorial Park this Friday, September 20, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Pastor Kenneth L. Blount will be officiating.
Mr. Bradley, a native of Greer, SC, made Augusta his home for over thirty years. After serving twenty years in the U.S. Army, he retired with the rank of Sergeant First Class and went on to work another twenty-three years as a Senior Field Technician with General Dynamics at Fort Gordon. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Papa loved all of his family, especially his five granddaughters. Whether going to the beach, fishing, or barbequing at home, he was happiest surrounded by his loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin James Bradley and his brother Jefferson Garfield Bradley.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his mother, Ruby Bradley of Greer, SC; his son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Christina Bradley, of Martinez; his daughter, Shannon Bradley of Augusta; his brother, Jimmy Bradley of Greer, SC; his sister, Judy Bradley of Spartanburg, SC; his five granddaughters, Ashleigh Bigelow, Kelsey Bigelow, Carlyn Bradley, Sydney Bradley and Sophia Bradley.
