Joan Degnan Pullum

Augusta, GA – Mrs. Joan Degnan Pullum, beloved wife of William Don Pullum, entered into rest on Sunday, March 20, 2016.

A memorial service will be held from the Chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors this Saturday, March 26, 2016, at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Danny Burnley officiating.

Mrs. Pullum was a native of Beaufort, SC and the daughter of the late John and Rosalind Degnan. Early in her life she had attended Art School in New York City, she had lived in the Augusta area since the mid fifties and had worked in the insurance industry as a Computer Analyst for First of Georgia and Allstate.

She was a kind mother and grandmother who deeply adored her family and loved to laugh. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son, Donnie Pullum; her daughter, Janet P. Cockrell; her brother, Matthew Butz; her grandchildren, Shawn C. Glover and her husband Travis, Michael Cockrell and his signifigant other, Victoria Hudson; great grandchildren, Samantha Glover, Sydney Glover and Cameron Cockrell.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until the hour of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
