Jimmy “Jim” Mack Robbins, Sr.

Augusta, GA – Jimmy “Jim” Mack Robbins, Sr., 75, husband of Mrs. Crystal Griffin Robbins, entered into rest Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at University Hospital.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with the Reverend Roland Smith officiating.
Mr. Robbins, a native of Lee County, VA, had made Augusta his home for the last forty seven years and was the son of the late Chester and Melvie Robbins. He was a retired Maintenance Engineer with National Linen Service and had attended Solomon’s Porch. He loved to fish, hunt, and weld and was a member of the Harison Head Hunters Hunting Club.
Mr. Robbins was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Robbins, Jr..; and his brothers, Gerald Robbins, Sam Robbins.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Debbie Robbins Wilson and her husband Michael; sister, Mary Lou Bowman; grandchildren, Joseph Wilson and his wife Amanda, and Josh Wilson; great grandchildren, Caitlin Wilson, Kayla Wilson, Trinity Wilson and Ethan Wilson.

  1. Crystal, I am so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I tried to find an E-Mail address a couple of weeks ago because I had you on my mind. Jim was a nice, nice man and he will be missed. God Bless you and your family.
