Jimmie Louis Breakfield

Augusta, GA – Jimmie Louis Breakfield, 86, husband of Mary Carmen Breakfield, entered into rest Monday, August 19, 2013, at his residence.
Memorial services will be Saturday, August 24, 2013, at 2:00 PM, from Wesley United Methodist Church, with Reverend Greg Porterfield and Reverend Pat Williams officiating.
Mr. Breakfield, a native of Lockhart, SC, served during World War II in the United States Navy. He was an International Board Member of “Parents Without Partners” and started many local chapters. He retired after many years from the Savannah River Site and was a charter member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Myrtie Cooper.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Timothy Matthew Breakfield, of Guyton, GA, Ralph Bell Johnson II, of Augusta, and Dallas Lee Rogers, also of Augusta; sister, Sarah-Ann Fowler, of Lockhart, SC; grandchildren, Amber Roethlisberger, Rebecca Breakfield, Samantha McVey, Kristyn Davis, Jesse Rogers, and Olivia Rogers; four great grandchildren; and several dear nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August, 24, 2013, from 1:00 PM until the hour of service, at the church.
