Jace Alan Baker

Augusta, GA – Jace Alan Baker, 4, son of Ashley Rickerson and Garry T. Baker, Jr, both of Grovetown, entered into rest Saturday, September 17, 2016.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Jerry Pitman officiating.

Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Jace was preceded in death by his sister, Sember Baker; and his grandfathers, Garry T. Baker, Sr, and Darryl Agner.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Wanda Whitaker, of Augusta; his patermal grandmother, Yvonne Baker, of Grovetown; his maternal grandfather, Keith Humenanski, of Greenville, SC; his great grandmother Anita Cauffield (Roger Ahlers), of Augusta; his brothers, Hunter Rickerson, Garry T. Baker, III, and Justin Baker, all of Grovetown, and Brycen Ballard, of Kentucky; his aunts, Alicia Ford, Brandi Wendt, Carrie Carpenter, Barbara Bronson, and Shelly Chesnut Haynes; his uncles, Alan Baker and Heath Carpenter; and many cousins.

Pallbearers will be Roger Ahlers, Alan Baker, Eli Ford, Craig Thompson, and Heath Carpenter.

The family requests all flowers or contributions be sent to the funeral home.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 23, 2016, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
