Helen F. Yarbrough

Augusta, GA – Helen F. Yarbrough, 78, beloved and faithful wife of 61 years to Mr. Thomas S. Yarbrough, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at Silvercrest Baptist Church this Saturday, July 1, 2017, at 11:00 A.M., with the Reverend John Kilpatrick officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 P.M. in the Davisboro City Cemetery, Cemetery Dr., Davisboro, GA.

Mrs. Yarbrough a native and lifelong resident of the Augusta area was the daughter of the late Luther Dekalb and Amanda James Funderburg. She was a member over 45 years of Silvercrest Baptist Church where she had served as a Youth Leader, was a Sunday School Teacher, ministered to the elderly and shut-ins, was a faithful volunteer serving meals to families at the Dr.’s Hospital Burn Center, all to the Glory and Honor of her Lord Jesus. She was a dedicated caretaker of her dogs, cats, birds and garden. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a MaMa to many others.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her children and their spouses, Angel D. Wilson, LeiLani Y. and Bill Paugh, Thomas N. and Elizabeth Yarbrough, and Samuel E. and Missy Yarbrough, her brother, L.D. Funderburg; eight grandchildren; as well as six great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Russell Paugh, Billy Paugh, Robby Paugh, Ty Yarbrough, Zachary Bodie, Misha Kuzniatsou and Daniel Lopian.

The family will receive friends this Friday, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
