Mrs. Hannelore M. Sears

Hephzibah, GA – Mrs. Hannelore “Honey” Sears, 85, wife of Harrison Sears, entered into rest Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Eisenhower Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 11, 2021, at 1:00 PM from Westover Memorial Park with Pastor Kevin Townes officiating. Family and friends are asked to gather at the graveside.
Mrs. Sears, a native of Germany, was born in Biebern, East Prussia and had been a resident of Augusta since 1962.  She retired from the Richmond County Board of Education as a paraprofessional with 22 years of service.  She was a member of the Alice Warren Chapter No. 483 of the Eastern Star and a member of Whispering Pines Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Martha Bloch Wagner, of Augsburg, Germany; her sister, Elizabeth Wagner Dittman, of Nordendorf, Germany; and her brother, Winfried Wagner, of Lutzelburg, Germany.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Janet Sears Laubengeyer, of Marietta, and JoAnn Sears Logan, of Hephzibah; her son, Steven Sears, also of Hephzibah; her grandson, Timothy Marino (Kim); her great grandsons, Gage and Conor Marino, of Tifton; her great granddaughter, Ava Marino, also of Tifton; and her brother, Herbert Wagner, of Augsburg, Germany.
