Guestzer “G.L.” Mason

Augusta, GA – Mr. Guestzer Langdon Mason husband of the late Betty Boyd Mason, owner of Master Fabricators entered into rest on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the VA Medical Center.

A private service will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mr. Mason was born in Donora, SC, to the late Samuel and Shelly Bowers Mason. He was the owner of Master Fabricators, a US Army WWII veteran and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Christine Delmerico and her husband Joseph and Marsha Mason and her husband Wayne Lowe; brother, Ralph W. Mason; his grandchildren, April Delmerico and Denise Keenan-Collins and her husband Matt Collins; his great grandchild, Courtney Collins; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Father and Daddy you will be dearly missed.

  1. Marsha, I worked with you at (then) Columbia Nitrogen sometime in the seventies. I left in mid-1978 to go to Saudi Arabia.

    Many times I remember hearing the name “GL” Mason and his connection to CNC. I do not recall (age happens) knowing or hearing that you were related.

    We returned to the US in 1988 and I began working at Savannah River Site. In my last six years there, until 2011, I was in Cash Management/Accounts Payable and ran into GL’s and Master Fabricators’ names again. I still didn’t connect them to you. Now, in the time of your sorrow, I have.

    I am sorry for you loss. Time will heal the wounds.
