Grace Kiser Eshleman
Grace Kiser Eshleman, 91, of Keysville, GA, entered into rest on Sunday, June 26, 2011
On December 24, 1941, she married James Eshleman, who preceded her in death on April 7, 2007. Also preceding her were a son, Verlin; a great-granddaughter, Natalia Grace Myers; 3 sisters, Ruby Swope, Della Benner, and Josie Layman; and 5 brothers, Marvin, Carl, Oren, Oliver, and Alvin Kiser.
Surviving her are 4 sons: Gerald (Lauretta) of Hephzibah, GA, Jay of Woodstock, VA (Esther, Stuarts Draft, VA), Neal (Lorraine) of Richland, PA, and Elvin (Cheryl) of Monticello, GA; one daughter, Bonita Myers (Tim) of Waynesboro, GA; 27 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Grace was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, gardening, and flowers. Her children remember her as a dedicated mother who was happy to work quietly behind the scenes.
The family will receive friends at the Hephzibah Mennonite Church on Tuesday, June 28, 6:00-8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at the Hephzibah Mennonite Church on Wednesday, June 29 at 10:00 AM with pastors Earl Barnhart, Edgar Strite, and Howard Brubaker officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
