Gail Jackson Youngblood

Augusta, GA – Gail Jackson Youngblood, 67, wife of Vic Youngblood, entered into rest after a lengthy illness Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at University Hospital.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Pastor Terry Eubanks officiating.

Mrs. Youngblood, daughter of the late James Wayne Jackson and Barbara Lola Wilson Telles, was a native of Augusta and a homemaker. She was a member of New Life Christian Church and a former member of the Sweet Adelines.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Hannah Gail Grimme.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Wesley Aaron Youngblood (Amanda), of Martinez; her daughter, Kimberly Y. Grimme (Scott), of Raleigh, MS; her grandchildren, Brandon Anthony Grimme, Nicholas Allen Grimme, Olivia Grace Grimme, Lanie Paige Coronel, and Jackson Alexander Youngblood; her great grandchildren, Carter Anthony Grimme and Leighla Gweneth Grimme; and her sisters, Sharon Elaine Jackson Wilson, of Augusta, and Denise Elizabeth Jackson King, of Charleston, SC.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 2, 2017, from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
