G.C. “Red” Beale

Augusta, GA – G.C. “Red” Beale, 95, husband of the late Marilyn Bivens Beale, entered into rest Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Benton House Assisted Living.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Wade Solesbee officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mr. Beale, son of the late George Thomas and Victoria Priest Beale, was a native of Morriston, FL, and an avid fisherman. He was a Sergeant with the US. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He retired from Pet Dairy, Inc. and was a member of Fleming Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his six siblings.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Karen B. and Larry Anderson, of Sylvania, and Debra B. and Raymond Young, of Martinez; his grandchildren, Alan and Amy Anderson, of Sylvania, Fallon Stevens, of Evans, and Hunter Young, of Martinez; his great grandchildren, Kinsley Stevens and Bailey Morse, both of Evans; his brothers-in-law, his sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Alan Anderson, Hunter Young, David Lariscy, Lee Lariscy, Chris Josey, and William Triplett.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Benton House Assisted Living facility.

If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 106 SRP Dr, Evans, GA 30809.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 24, 2017, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
