Frank X. Farris II

Hephzibah, GA – Frank X. Farris II, 81, husband of Yvonne Gray, entered into rest at his residents surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 1, 2022.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 11:00 o’clock from the chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors with Pastor Taten Wagner officiating.

Interment to follow in Hephzibah-Vance Cemetery.

Mr. Farris, son of the late Lewis Smitherson and the late Frank Xavier Farris, was born in Augusta, GA.

Mr. Farris was retired after 22 years with Richmond County Sheriffs Office and former Hephzibah Chief of Police.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Scott X. Farris (Amy), and Frank X. Farris III (Karen); his stepdaughters Lorraine Bennett (Jeremy), and Sonyia Chaffin (Billy); his grandchildren, Raygen Emmie Farris, Madison Elizabeth Farris, Shelby Comtois, Jessica Farris, Todd Bennett, Leeam Bennett, Branda Ward, Georgia Price, and Hunter Grubbs.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Bennett, Todd Bennett, Billy Chaffin, and Scott Farris

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 o’clock on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at the funeral home.
