Faith Hall Kelly Jackson

Hephzibah, GA – Faith Hall Kelly Jackson, 78, wife of the late Curtis Jackson entered into rest on Friday, December 4, 2015 at her residence after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Billy Atkins officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Kelly, Gene Silvery, Don Brosious, Jeff Crosby, Gregory Goble and Frederick Goble.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Augusta, GA on August 30, 1937 to the late James and Carrie Thomas Hall. She lived most of her life in Augusta and worked at the Richmond County Health Department while obtaining a degree in chemistry from Augusta College. She retired from the Medical College of Georgia after 36 years of service as a teacher, laboratory technician and department head of Endocrinology.

She was preceded in death her first husband and father of her children Paul W. Kelly, her grandson, Jody Lee Kelley, a sister, Florence Biggam and her brother, James E. Hall.

Survivors include by her children, Angela K. Kelley (Rusty) of Harlem, GA; James W. Kelly (Elke) of Augusta; grandchildren, Danny Cousart of Augusta, Jennifer Bartle (Bill) of Cashton, WI, Jessica Riesenweber (Jared) of Pigeon Falls, WI and Nathan Kelly (Megan) of Jackson, SC; 13 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Trinity Hospice 620 Ponder Place Drive Augusta, GA 30909.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

  1. My grandma ment the world to i was blessed to have had her in my life we spent a lot of time fishing and traveling thisworld grew alittle darker for me but there where a lot of loved ones waiting for her please know im away. Ut my heart and soul are with you all love always danny

    • My grand ma was so special to me i use to go see her at m c g she was a scinctest she loved being at the lake fishing and playing keno with all her friends later she did country line danceing i watched her perform at the olaver hardy festival the country kickers where awsome to all my family i love you all please hug my mom for me as you all know i cant be there god bless you one and all
