Eva K. Silas

Augusta, GA – Eva K. Silas, 84, wife of the late Billy C. Silas, went to be with her Lord, Jesus, Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at her residence.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016, at 2:00 PM from Gibson United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Russell Davis officiating.

Mrs. Silas, daughter of the late Pierce and Birdie Thigpen Kitchens, was a native of Gibson, GA, and was a bookkeeper for Silas Landscaping.

She was preceded in death by her great grandchild, Kohen Silas.

She is survived by her sons, Billy E. Silas, of Gibson, Mark Silas, of Augusta, and Charles Silas, of Matthews; her daughters, Linda Corley, of Evans, and Martha Webb, of Martinez; her brothers, Bob Kitchens, and Clen Kitchens, both of Hephzibah; her sisters, Helen Yarbrough, of Augusta, and Jeanette Lively, of Lincolnton; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Ron Corley, Don Webb, Chad Silas, Tim Webb, David Silas, and Greg Silas

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

The family would also like to thank Leigh Alexander and Patsy Silas for all of their kindness and care.
